Love me some Kate Middleton

Style setter or slave to style?

Critics of Kate (aka Haters haters haters) have claimed she’s “boring” and plays her look too safe. I, on the other hand, put two fingers in my mouth to wolf-whistle at her fine style. This girl dances to her own beat, knows how to keep fit and look classy at every moment. While most girls are busy ripping through countless magazines and fashion blogs (like moi) to look disheveled in torn-apart-biker shorts and platform Jeffrey Campbell Litas, here’s Kate (or Catherine now) put together and dressed up. You can tell she doesn’t care if it’s Saturday or Wednesday evening – a little mascara, lip slick, and closed toed-pumps keeps her lovely lady-lumps lady-like. Why not dress up every day? This Phoebe Philo clean-chic look isn’t just a trend, but perfect polished and fresh way to say, “Hey, I’m a woman.” Little girls follow, and the fashion forward may experiment, but I’m a firm believer that if you can withstand the trends, make the fads cater to you, and dress for any occasion while staying true to yourself, then you are most definitely, forever chic.
